Bare
feet on a "dirty" pool floor is not healthy—odds-on, a pool
floor with "left behind" soil is very slippery when wet. Swimming pool floors can be
slippery even if they are washed frequently because of:
1. Generally, soil around a pool is alkaline
and thus requires a free-rinsing acidic detergent to totally remove soil down to
the floor surface.
2. Disinfectant-detergent solutions leave a
residual film that can be slippery when wet... and do not provide
ongoing germ-killing effect often implied by sales personnel and/or
product literature.
3. Use of hot water will cause body and other oils
and greases to melt, spread, and reattach to the floor causing unsafe
conditions when wet. Don't be duped by the age-old thinking that
hot water kills all germs—there are germs that can survive in water
boiled for over 30 minutes.
Swimming pool floors MUST NOT be
slippery & MUST be sanitary...
Walls 'N All-EFP helps achieve total
success using COLD water.
