Scrubbing and burnishing may seem as though they are conflicting functions, but abrasion (friction) is required to pull out imbedded soil (scrubbing) as well as create heat to soften and roll floor finish into scratch marks (burnishing).

MicroFiber does both jobs swiftly, thoroughly and, because pads wear so well, inexpensively.  It is not recommended that the same pad be used to do both functions.
