Effects Of Overexposure: High vapor concentrations may cause upper respiratory tract irritation, narcosis (sleepiness, dizziness, etc.), and eye irritation.  Prolonged skin contact may cause mild to moderate local redness & swelling.

 

Emergency First Aid Procedures:

Eyes:  Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.  Call a physician.

Ingestion:  Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately.  Induce vomiting as directed by physician.

Skin:  Remove contaminated clothing & wash before reuse.  Wash affected areas with soap & water.

Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled: If container is ruptured or begins to leak, place in a well-ventilated area free of spark & ignition sources.  Any remaining liquid should be collected with absorbent media. Dispose of unusable concentrate & absorbent media in accordance with local, state & federal regulations.

Waste Disposal Method: Do not puncture empty container.  Discard empty container in trash.  Do not puncture or incinerate. Any remaining or collected liquid from punctured cans should be disposed of in a safe manner at an approved facility in accordance with local, state & federal regulations.

Precautions To Be Taken In Handling And Storing: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Store in a cool, dry area away from heat or open flame.  Exposure to temperatures above 120°F may cause bursting. Do not install directly over any food handling or dispensing area.

Other Precautions: Read label - this product is designed for use in automatic aerosol dispenser.  One unit per 6,000 cubic feet should be  considered as an average need.  Keep in mind that factors such as air flow, size of space, humidity & room temperature all affect odor control.

 

Supplier Notification Under Section 313 of SARA

Pursuant to Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA) and  40 CFR Part 372, our product: Time Mist Air Freshener with odor counteractant contains toxic chemicals in quantities subject to the reporting requirements under section 313(see below). Effective January 1, 1989, any person who sells or otherwise distributes a mixture or trade name product containing toxic chemicals must provide written notice to the recipient with the first shipment in each calendar year.  If the recipient repackages or otherwise redistributes this product a notice indicating that this product is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 313, including the reporting chemical name/category, CAS number and percent by weight, must accompany the shipment.  Please note that the notification letter must be attached and remain attached to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
