Carpet and upholstery cleaning steps are virtually the same. Before beginning upholstery cleaning, test-apply the Tantum-1 cleaning solution on the fabric of each piece of furniture—test in an inconspicuous place.

The upholstery tool jet should inject the solution with less force than does a carpet tool to help prevent over-wetting.
