If It's Clean, It's Sanitary ^®

Once soil has been pulled from a carpet, the focus should be on keeping it looking great and as clean as possible. 

Immediately after carpet has been cleaned, place aluminum foil between furniture legs and the carpet pile.  Then turn on a high-volume electric air mover—Drying Blower.  Remove the foil when the carpet is thoroughly dry.

You will find that the cleaner a carpet is, the faster it dries.
